UNDATED (AP) – Parler may be making a comeback. Apple says it has reached a deal with the right-wing social app that could lead to having it reinstated to the company’s app store.

In a letter to a pair of Republican lawmakers in Congress, Apple says it has had “substantial conversations” with Parler about how the company plans to moderate content on its network.

Apple kicked out Parler early this year over its ties to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

The site was a hotbed of hate speech, Nazi imagery, calls for violence – including violence against specific people – and conspiracy theories.
