Passenger dies in rollover crash on San Antonio’s West Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) –Traffic on the West Side was moving slow this morning after a fatal crash on Highway 90.

San Antonio police say the crash happened at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Westbound lanes of 90 near General McMullen.

That’s where a van carrying roofing equipment rolled over in the median. Three people were in the van and one of the passengers was ejected as the vehicle rolled over. That passenger died at the scene. The driver and another passenger were brought to a hospital with what police are calling minor injuries.

The identity of the deceased passenger hasn’t been released and police are still investigating to determine why the van rolled over.
