Spurs star Patty Mills urges you to ‘Give Mama Coffee’ for a good cause

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Spurs Star Patty Mills is teaming up with 8 local coffee shops for a Mother’s Day fundraiser for Family Violence Prevention Services and the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter.

“We are encouraging the San Antonio community to shop small at 8 participating coffee shops,” he said.

They’ll keep the money they make from selling merchandise between 7 a.m. and 2 pm Sunday, but Mills will doubled the amount and write a check for  Family Violence Prevention Services and the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter.

“This is just the start of what could catch on and make a bigger impact throughout San Antonio,” said Mills.

The participating shops are Mildfire Coffee, Press Coffee, Theory Coffee, Indy Coffee Club, Estate Coffee, Brown Coffee, Scorpion Coffee and Gold Coffee.
