Pedestrian struck and killed while crossing street on San Antonio’s Northwest side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is dead after he was hit while crossing Huebener Road.

Police report the victim was crossing near Research Drive at around 5 A.M. Wednesday when he was hit.

The driver stopped and stayed with the victim until paramedics arrived.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age haven’t been released.

The driver tells police they didn’t see the man and is not expected to be charged.
