Pedestrian suffers broken leg in hit and run on San Antonio’s Northwest side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are investigating a hit and run on the Northwest side.

The call came in from the 5200 block of UTSA Boulevard at around 11 P.M. Wednesday.

The victim was walking on the sidewalk and was hit by a driver who jumped the curb.

He’s got a broken leg and is expected to recover.

Meanwhile the driver who hit him didn’t stop and the victim wasn’t able to provide a description of the vehicle.

Police are going to businesses in the area to take a look at surveillance video.

The driver will be charged with failure to stop and render aid once they are located.
