Pilates instructor from San Antonio jets to Canada to visit longtime friend Meghan Markle

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) -A Pilates instructor from San Antonio recently jetted to Canada to visit her BFF Meghan Markle following the “royal split.”

The Evening Standard-Insider reports that Markle drove to Victoria International Airport to pick up her Hollywood Pilates instructor Heather Dorak. The San Antonio native opened Pilates Platinum studios in Hollywood in 2006 and later opened three more in the Los Angeles area.   She’s been friends with Markle for about 15 years.

Photos on social media show Dorak enjoying several events with Markle, including a hockey game in Vancouver in 2015. She also attended Markle’s speech that year at a UN women’s conference event in New York City. Dorak and her husband, Matt Cohen, also were guests at Meghan and Prince Harry’s Royal wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018 and now, she’s visiting Markle in Canada following the couple’s split with the Royals.

Dorak and her sister, Sarah, co-own Pilates Platinum studios in Stone Oak and Alamo Heights.
