Pipe bombs, drugs and guns found at scene of northwest San Antonio shooting

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two people were arrested for a shooting in a northwest San Antonio neighborhood.

San Antonio police someone called saying a bullet went through their kitchen window and it had come from their neighbor’s house on Rustic Lane, off of Vance Jackson Road near Huebner Road, at around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.

Arriving officers heard a gunshot coming from the area described by the victim.

Several men ran into a shed behind the neighbor’s house and others were found inside.

A sweep was done on the property, which led police to find all of the people and several pipe bombs, handguns and a rifle.

Police arrested 22-year-old David Ledbetter Ferrill on a deadly conduct charge and 35-year-old Christina Hottle for drug possession and failure to identify.

Police say the incident is still under investigation.
