Hollywood Park Police: Double homicide suspect arrested in Waco

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Hollywood Park Police Department is announcing the arrest of a man accused of shooting three people at a north side restaurant.

Darrick Davon Oliver, Jr. was arrested hours after police released his name and photo to local media. Hollywood Park Police Chief Shad Prichard says in a release Oliver was arrested at a relative’s home in Waco on Tuesday night. Oliver’s mother assisted in getting him to surrender peacefully after several hours once Texas Rangers had arrived at the location.

Oliver is accused of shooting two men and a woman at Rose Bistro early Sunday morning after midnight.

Investigators say Justin Hutchieson, 26, was killed after he was shot in the face. Alaina Henderson, 27, was alive when police arrived at the scene, but she later died at the hospital. A third man was shot twice, but he survived the attack.

Police say surveillance video shows Oliver pulling the gun inside the restaurant and firing shots after what may have been an argument between Hutchieson and the surviving victim.

Investigators say Henderson had no relation to any of the men and was killed as a bystander.
