Police charge man with wife’s disappearance and murder

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A San Antonio man has been arrested and charged with his wife’s murder.

Cecilia Huertas Gallegos was last seen in July of 2019.

A surveillance camera at her Southwick Road home showed her going inside July 7.

Her husband, 37 year old Reyes Gallegos called police the next day to report that she was missing and that she had cut him during an argument.

Cecilia’s body hasn’t been found but police have determined they found enough evidence to arrest Reyes Gallegos.

They picked him up during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.
