Police increasing patrols at New Braunfels middle school after phone threat

CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — Police in New Braunfels say it will be increasing its patrols in the area of New Braunfels Middle School after a threat was called in to 911 Monday afternoon.
New Braunfels ISD superintendent Randy Moczygemba wrote in a message to parents that the threat against the middle school was called into Guadalupe County 911.
New Braunfels police say they are currently investigating the threat and will have additional patrols at the school Tuesday.
The nature of the threat was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, Comal ISD officials put out a statement saying there is no threat against any of its schools.
