Police investigate fatal shooting outside San Antonio sports bar

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man has been gunned down outside of a West side sports bar.

KSAT-12 reports that at around 2 A.M. Tuesday, a police officer who was patrolling the area near The Village at Ingram Park Shopping Center heard shots fired.

There was a gunfight involving people in two vehicles and when they ended up in front of Perfect Score Sports Bar, a customer standing outside was shot.

Police say efforts were made to save the man’s life but he died at the scene.

The vehicles involved in the shooting were gone by the time officers arrived at the bar. Police haven’t located any of the shooters but surveillance cameras at several businesses in the area captured video of the shootout.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
