Police looking for suspect after shooting on West Side, victim not cooperating

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a shooting that has left one man in the hospital.

Finding the person who pulled the trigger is proving difficult early on.

SAPD says the victim, a man in his 30s, was shot in the 1900 block of West Laurel Street. When officers arrived, they say the victim was found with a gunshot to the leg.

Detectives say they are not getting much information from the man, but they do think he was sitting down when he was shot.

The shot was fired around 10:45 a.m. on Friday, and there is no description of the suspect.
