School bus driver is accused of pushing woman out of vehicle and running over her

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A San Antonio School District bus driver has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident seven months ago.
Thirty-seven-year-old Christopher Moreno was taken into custody around 6:20 this morning at the SAISD transportation depot.
He’s accused of pushing 48-year-old Cynthia Gomez out of his vehicle and running over her twice January 13. Her body was found in a driveway on New Laredo Highway. Today would have been her 49th birthday.
Moreno has been a bus driver for SAISD since January of 2017. The district will be terminating his employment.
