Post-George Floyd, “Live PD” and “Cops” disappear from TV schedules

BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — Two popular TV police shows are no longer on TV.
Variety reports A&E decided to not run new episodes of its “Live PD” Friday and Saturday and Paramount Network has delayed its Season 33 launch of “Cops”.
A&E is airing spin-off show “Live Rescue” instead, while Paramount Network plans to air “Ghostbusters” instead.
It’s not clear what the long-term plans are for either show or either network.
