Power line falls on fire truck as San Antonio Firefighters battle flames at South Side home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An early morning fire has displaced three South Side residents.

The San Antonio Fire Department got the call from the 200 block of McCauley Boulevard at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

Heavy smoke and flames were pouring out of the roof of the home when crews arrived.

They were able to put the fire out quickly but did face another dangerous situation when a power line fell on a fire truck.

All three residents were able to get out safely and no firefighters were hurt.

Investigators are now working to determine the cause.
