SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – President Donald Trump will visit an Apple manufacturing plant in Austin this week.  The White House says the President will tour the factory with Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday.  The President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and and Director of the National Economic Council  Larry Kudlow also are expected to make the trip.

The White House says the visit is meant to highlight jobs  that Apple is creating in the United States.

Apple reportedly scrapped plans to move production of its Mac Pro from Texas to China after the administration agreed to exempt computer parts from a new round of tariffs
