Price of July 4th fill-up climbs for Texas drivers

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — AAA is reporting another jump in gas prices.

Joshua Zuber talked to us about what’s causing the increase.

“It’s supply and demand which is typical during summer driving season. There are some other global economic factors that are going to create price increases, including the price of crude oil and sanctions on Iran.”

San Antonio drivers are seeing a ten cent jump this week. The average price is now at $2.36.

If you’re on the road this holiday weekend and you want to find the lowest gas prices along your route, AAA has updated prices every morning at this link.
