Removal of construction equipment to force closure of road on San Antonio’s North side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The City of San Antonio’s Public Works Department is letting motorists know about an upcoming road closure.
Beginning Friday, August 27, a section of Nacogdoches Road will be completely closed between Broadway and Nottingham.
Crews are going to be removing a crane from a construction site in the area so all lanes of traffic will be closed in both directions.
Message boards have been posted to make commuters aware of the upcoming closure and detour signs will be posted to help drivers navigate around the work zone.
The roadway will reopen at 5 A.M. Monday, August 30.
