Report: Man shot and killed during argument over loud animals on San Antonio’s West Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An argument over loud animals takes a deadly turn on the West Side.

KSAT-12 reports that it all began at around 11 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Balboa Street.

That’s where two men were arguing in the street when the shooting started.

Neighbors called police after hearing the gunshots.

Officers found one of the men, identified as 33-year-old Cody Guerrero lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other man, who is 71-years-old, had been shot in the backside and was transported to a local hospital. His name hasn’t been released.

Police haven’t said who shot first or who owns the animals the men were arguing over as the investigation is still going on.
