SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Several dogs have been rounded up after they reportedly attacked a woman on the Southwest Side.

KSAT 12 is reporting the attack happened Wednesday afternoon at the corner of West Southcross Boulevard and Priscilla Street.

The victim was walking when several dogs reportedly jumped a fence. One of them attacked the woman but a passer-by stopped to help, placing the woman in their vehicle before the rest of the dogs could attack her.

Cell phone video taken at the scene then shows the dogs attacking a police patrol vehicle when the officer arrived. The dogs managed to rip one of the lights off the vehicle.

The officer wasn’t hurt but the woman was bit on the leg.

Animal Care Services tells KSAT they’ve taken a number of dogs into custody and are trying to determine which one bit the woman.

The owner of the dogs is facing several charges.
