Resident on San Antonio’s  Northeast side shot in the leg, returns fire

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A resident of San Antonio’s Northeast side is recovering after someone shot him through the window of his apartment.

According to KSAT-12 it was around 4:30 A.M. Wednesday when police were called to Alamo Estates Apartments on Midcrown Drive.

Police say someone fired several rounds through an apartment window hitting the resident in the thigh.

The man grabbed his gun and fired back but didn’t hit the shooter who fled the scene and hasn’t been found.

The victim drove to a hospital and is in stable condition.

Two other people who were in the apartment were not hurt.
