Rough Weather Possible Tuesday Afternoon

By Bill O’Neil

A few severe storms could move through South-Central Texas before we see near-record breaking low temperatures overnight Tuesday in to Wednesday.

The National Weather Service said scattered strong to severe storms could develop along a cold front that will push through the Austin and San Antonio areas Tuesday Afternoon.

Forecasters said the further south the storms travel, the more likely they are to become severe.

The main threats expected with the storms include large hail and straight line wind gusts before things dry out.
