SAFD: Northeast side home destroyed by fire, family escapes

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Four people and their dogs are safe after a house fire Tuesday morning.

The San Antonio Fire Department was called just after 5 a.m. and then sent crews to the 12400 block of Gran Vista Street on the Northeast Side. Upon arrival, firefighters were met by flames engulfing the home.

There is no word on the cause of the fire, and no estimate was given on the extensive damage.
