Salazar Applauds New Deputies Contract

The new contract between the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the Deputies Union is getting the thumbs up from the incoming Sheriff.

Javier Salazar tells us that even though the current Sheriff’s signature will be on the finished agreement, County Commissioners allowed him to be a part of finalizing the deal.

Salazar says having the deal wrapped up will make his transition a lot easier and he expects to continue having a great working relationship with County staff.
