Salvation Army Angel Tree adoptions begin Friday
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Salvation Army’s effort to make sure area children have a present under the tree Christmas morning is getting underway.
The agency’s 2024 Angel Trees will being arriving at area shopping malls, Walmart and Sam’s Club locations.
The program’s goals are to provide gifts for about 6,000 children in the area, along with hundreds of seniors.
How does it work?
You simply visit the Angel Trees at San Antonio malls, as well as participating Walmart and Sam’s Club locations through Dec. 13, select a tear sheet and shop for items on the child’s wish list.
If you prefer shopping from home, The Salvation Army has updated its website SalvationArmySATX.org to serve as a one-stop shop.
You can do adoptions online under the “Angel Tree” tab.
The website also has a localized link to the Walmart gift registry, and you can utilize the gift registry to have gifts delivered to The Salvation Army in time for distribution day.
