SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A 63-year-old strip club owner has been arrested as the result of a Bexar County investigation into human trafficking.

The man identified as His Majesty Victor Saint Adams is charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.

Sheriff Javier Salazar says teenage runaways are easy targets for those involved in the sex trade.

“So many runaways fall victim to these schemes. Within 48 hours, the vast majority of these kids are going to be approached by human traffickers,” said Salazar.

He talked about a 16-year-old girl who got reeled in by one of these “monsters” and was unable to escape.

“She couldn’t get herself out of it, so it took all of us up here to save her from that life,” said Salazar.

Saint Adams was taken into custody Wednesday as the result of a sting operation last year at MGM Cabaret in Von Ormy. The club owned by Adams is now closed.

Bond is set at $20,000.
