SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County is getting a big boost to it’s COVID-19 Community Response Fund thanks to some area auto dealers.

The SA Auto Dealers Association, a group consisting of more than 40 dealerships, has contributed $40,000 to the fund.

The dealerships contributed 10 bucks every time a customer got a vehicle alignment.

The money is going to stay in the community and will be used by area non-profits serving residents who are most vulnerable during the pandemic.

Pam Crail, President of SADA says:

“The current pandemic continues to impact so many people in our community, as well as the nonprofits who provide them with vital services. As members of the business community, our members were focused on working together to help support these important efforts.”
