San Antonio City Councilwoman Adriana Rocha Garcia announces candidacy for mayor

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Another member of the San Antonio City Council has set their sights on the mayor’s office.
District 4 Councilwoman Adriana Rocha Garcia says she’s running for mayor.
Two other council members, John Courage and Manny Palaez have already announced their candidacy. Beto Altamirano, a local tech entrepreneur, is also looking to replace current mayor Ron Nirenberg, who is being termed out.
Rocha Garcia represents the South Side and was first elected to city council in 2019.
She is the first female to announce she is running for mayor in the May 2025 election.
