San Antonio man drowns in Canyon Lake

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A San Antonio man drowned in Canyon Lake Wednesday afternoon.
The Comal County Sheriff’s Office said witnesses at the scene saw a man flip from his float at around 3:30 p.m., went under water and had not resurfaced for about 10 minutes.
Search crews from the Canyon Lake Fire Department found his body by around 4:00 p.m.
The man has been identified as 53-year-old Cary Guffey. An autopsy was ordered and the investigation continues.
