San Antonio man refuses medical treatment after accidental shooting

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man looking to get a good deal on some clothes got a lot of bang for his buck.

Police were called to the 1900 block of Montezuma just after 10 P.M. Tuesday.

That’s where a man met up with another person who was selling a bag of clothing.

He reached inside the bag and pulled out a jacket. He didn’t know that there was a gun in one of the pockets and when he dropped the jacket back into the bag, the gun fired.

The victim was hit in the thigh and the man selling the clothes grabbed the bag and ran away.

EMS arrived but the victim refused to be treated. He walked back to his apartment and shut the door, refusing to open up for officers who were trying to ask some questions.

The investigation continues.
