SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Electric Reliability Council of Texas is telling you to conserve power as the daytime temperature stays in the 90’s.
If you choose to back off on your A/C you can still find a place to chill.
The city of San Antonio is opening cooling centers around town if you need to be sheltered from the heat.
The announcement comes after the ERCOT urged Texans to conserve power this week to avoid the possibility of rolling blackouts.
VIA is offering free rides to them starting today. Just let the bus operator know that you are traveling to the center before you get on board.
