San Antonio pedestrian attacked by a man with a machete

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Police are looking for someone who attacked a man with a machete on the city’s west side.

As 30 year old Rogelio Hernandez was walking along Westfield Drive at around 10:30 Tuesday night, a man jumped out of a green Lincoln and started swinging a machete.

The attacker was wearing a mask and after cutting Hernandez several times he got back into the car and sped off.

The victim suffered cuts to both arms and is recovering in the hospital. Police say they don’t know what led to the attack and they are still searching for the man in the car.
