San Antonio Police arrest man accused of killing 3 at East side sports bar

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left three people dead at an East side sports bar.

Police began following 34 year old Daniel Barragan as he left his home Monday afternoon. They eventually stopped him and made the arrest on Southwest Military Drive.

He’s being charged with three counts of capital murder. He’s accused of gunning down 5 people, killing three after he got into a fight at Boom Boom Sports Bar on South New Braunfels early Sunday morning.

Barragan left the bar, got a gun from his car and started shooting. Two people died at the scene, the third at a hospital.

The remaining two victims are in critical condition.
