San Antonio Police Department: Man in serious condition following shooting at Northeast Side motel

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A shooting at a Northeast Side motel sends one man to the hospital and another to jail.
San Antonio police say the shooting happened at the La Quinta Inn on the 6400 block of Interstate 35 at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
What police are being told is that the men were in a room with a woman and three children and when the woman left to get some food, the men began to argue.
One of them pulled a gun and shot the other two times. Once in the eye and once in the stomach.
The victim is in the hospital in serious condition while the shooter was taken into custody.
The children reportedly witnessed the shooting but they were not hurt.
