SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are investigating the shooting of a man on the east side early Monday morning.

In this case, investigators are trying to find out where the 40-year-old victim was shot after he was found walking along J Street and Roland with a gunshot wound in his back.

Police say they are getting conflicting stories from the victim after they got multiple calls about the shooting. One witness told police she was with the victim when he was shot in a vehicle by someone in a white truck.

Investigators have no suspect or description of the person responsible.

According to KSAT-TV, the victim told police the shooting was the result of a road-rage incident before he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
