San Antonio police identify woman believed to be involved in July 16 “high-five” robbery of an elderly man
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — An arrest has been made in connection what’s being called the “high-five” robbery.
The crime took place July 16 when 86-year-old Jose Hernandez was robbed in his West Commerce Street home.
The suspected crooks were caught on video, seemingly celebrating the crime by high-fiving each other as they ran away.
Hernandez, says he suffered a broken elbow during the robbery and the thieves got away with 400 dollars of his money.
San Antonio police shared the video of the suspected crooks and soon began getting calls from the public identifying the pair.
KENS 5 is reporting that one of them, Adriana Delores Garza, was taken into custody after Hernandez was able to identify her in a photo lineup.
She facing charges of aggravated assault with bond set at $100,000.
Her male accomplice hasn’t been identified but police continue their investigation.
