San Antonio Police investigating death of woman hit by two vehicles while riding bike on Southwest Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A woman is dead after she was hit by two vehicles while riding her bike along a Southeast Side street.

San Antonio police report the woman was riding along Southton Road at around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

She was said to be riding home from a convenience store when she was hit.

Investigators say a man who was riding ahead of her turned around and noticed she wasn’t there, so he went back and found her lying on the ground. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the drivers who hit the woman did stop to help but there’s no word on the other driver.

The investigation continues.
