San Antonio Police investigating fatal hit and run on the West side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are investigating a hit and run that claimed the life of a man who was riding his bicycle on the West side.

It was around 1:20 A.M. Monday. The victim was riding on Enrique M Barrera Parkway when someone drove off the road and hit him.

The impact threw the man nearly 50 yards and the driver who hit him didn’t stop.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are trying to determine if the driver lost control or if they hit the victim on purpose.

The cyclist’s name hasn’t been released and since there were no witnesses, police don’t have a description of the vehicle.
