SAPD: Man pronounced dead after shooting outside Walmart on South Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is dead after he was shot outside of a Walmart on the South Side.

San Antonio police say it happened at around 7 a.m. Monday at the Walmart on Southeast Military Drive.

Officers found the victim, a man in his 30’s, dead from gunshot wounds to the back and arm. His name hasn’t been released.

Police have two people in custody. One of them an elderly man believed to be the shooter, and the other a woman.

Investigators don’t know why the shooting took place but it appears it happened during an argument.
