San Antonio Police: Man shoots gun into truck, tells officers to shoot him during standoff on South Side
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio police are looking for a man who was involved in a standoff on the South Side.
FOX 29 reports it all started at around 10 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Elks Drive.
That’s where the man reportedly fired a gun into a truck. The person in the truck wasn’t hurt but the shooter ran back into his house.
Police arrived and tried to convince the man to give up but he stayed inside and even telling police to shoot him.
The officers decided to back off after an hour of waiting for the man. They say they know who the man is and will charge him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon once they catch him.
Police haven’t said why the man fired a gun into the truck and his name hasn’t been released.
