San Antonio Police: Man shot in face during attempted robbery near The Alamo

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man is recovering after he was shot in the face in a parking lot near The Alamo.
Police say it happened at around 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 240 block of South Bowie.
Investigators believe the 34-year-old victim was shot during a robbery attempt, but they are still trying to determine if he was the victim of the robbery or if he was shot by the victim.
His injuries are being called “non-life threatening”.
Several people were detained for questioning but at this point there’s no word on any charges being filed.
