SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A San Antonio police officer has been indicted on a charge of possession of child pornography.
Officer Erik Rodriguez is accused of possessing a video depicting a child younger than 18 engaging in sexual conduct, “namely bestiality.” Bond has been set at $100,000.
A Bexar County Grand Jury Monday morning also indicted Rodriguez on a bribery charge. Prosecutors say Rodriguez took a $100 bribe from a domestic violence suspect in exchange for information about the case.
The cases are being prosecuted by the Public Integrity and Cyber Crime Unit in the 226th District Court.
