SAPD: Teen accused of fatally shooting restaurant manager may be hiding in Austin area

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A teenager woman accused of killing a local restaurant manager back in July is still on the run, and may be in the Austin area.

That’s according to San Antonio police who continue to look for 17-year-old Adiah Namir Roberson.

It’s believed Roberson was the one who shot and killed Daniel Shrewsbury, the manager of the Sonic Drive-In on Babcock July 7.

The shooting happened after Shrewsbury confronted Roberson after she tried paying for her food order with counterfeit money. Shrewsbury reportedly went outside to confront Roberson and a man named Joshua Joseph.

Joseph is said to have threatened to shoot Shrewsbury when the manager tried to take a picture of his car’s license plate.

A few moments later, Roberson got out of the car and shot Shrewsbury, who died at the scene.

Joseph was arrested August 16 and charged with murder, but Roberson has yet to be located. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information on her whereabouts is asked to call San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867, or Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to her arrest.
