San Antonio Police: Teen arrested in connection with fatal car jacking attempt at North Side Walmart

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A teenager has been arrested in connection with a deadly car jacking attempt.

KSAT-12 is reporting the shooting happened Saturday afternoon at the Walmart parking lot in the 12600 block of Blanco Road.

That’s where 65-year-old Muhammad Khan Pazir was shot during an attempted carjacking.

Police say they interviewed several witnesses who were able to provide a description of the car the shooter was driving.

Officers were able to locate the car at an apartment complex just a few miles away.

They ran the plates and learned the car was stolen.

Eventually, four people came outside and got in the car and drove away. Police say they stopped the car and took all four occupants into custody.

During questioning, the driver, who is 13-years-old, reportedly admitted to police that he shot Pazir.

Among the charges he’s facing, capital murder, unlawful use of a firearm, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Since the shooter is underage, police did not release his name.

No word on what the three people he was with are being charged with or if they were with the teen during the attempted car jacking.
