San Antonio Police: Woman fires gun at man attacking her brother with a baseball bat

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man can thank his sister for possibly saving his life.

She fired her gun  at another man who was beating her brother with a baseball bat.

San Antonio police say it all started at around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 4800 block of South Flores Street.

That’s where the man and some family members were told to leave a bar following an altercation with another group.

Several people from the bar followed the family to the 9800 block of Collin Grove.

They jumped out of their car and one of them began beating the man with a baseball bat.

At some point the man’s sister pulled out her gun and started shooting.

The group jumped back in their vehicle and sped off and it’s not known if any of them were shot.

The injured man was brought to a hospital but there’s been no update on his condition.
