San Antonio resident escapes as fire rips through his home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It’s likely a total loss.

That’s what firefighters are saying about a home on Hayden Drive.

They were called to the home just after 2:30 A.M. Monday.

Crews were met with heavy smoke and intense flames when they arrived.

The resident was able to escape but the fire caused extensive damage to the home.

Investigators are still tracking down the cause.
