San Antonio school districts to hold virtual education job fair tomorrow

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Texas A&M-San Antonio is holding a virtual job fair searching for educators for several local school districts tomorrow.

A&M-San Antonio is holding the job fair to address “the intense hiring demand with hundreds of opportunities” in the greater San Antonio area. The school districts participating in the hiring event are San Antonio ISD, Southside ISD, Harlandale ISD and City Year.

“The need for quality teachers is at an all-time high,” said Dr. Edwin Blanton, Associate Vice President & Executive Director of the Mays Center. “We want to provide a convenient pathway to cultivating the best talent for our area school districts.” 

Officials said the event is free and that people will be hired on the spot. Jobs are for those interested in kindergarten through 12th-grade teaching opportunities.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held over Zoom. at https://bit.ly/educatorexpo.
