San Antonio shuts down Alamo Plaza amid demonstration concerns

BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — The City of San Antonio will be closing Alamo Plaza Monday night to prevent any damage to the historical site.

The plaza will be closed from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

“The closure is a precautionary measure to minimize the possibility of civil disturbance and damage to sensitive structures,” the city said in a statement.
