San Antonio to host WWE Royal Rumble in January

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A premiere event in the world of pro-wrestling is coming back to San Antonio.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg announced Wednesday morning that the WWE’s Royal Rumble will take place at the Alamodome January 28, 2023.
“We are thrilled to bring back one of WWE’s most exciting events of the year to San Antonio.
Royal Rumble will bring tens of thousands of WWE fans from around the world to the Alamodome, bringing both an incredible economic boost to our beautiful city and community outreach events that will give back in a multitude of ways.”
This will be the fourth time San Antonio has hosted the annual event which is in its 30th year.
Tickets go on sale 10 A.M. Friday.
