SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Walmart stores in San Antonio have kicked off their annual fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network.

The retailer is hoping you’ll make a donation next time you’re shopping.

Since Walmart began it’s yearly campaign, more than 7 million dollars have been raised by customers and associates.

You can donate a dollar or more once all of your items are scanned at the checkout.

The donations you make at San Antonio Walmart and Sam’s Club locations stays in the area. All of the money is going to be donated to the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. They’ll use it for critical treatments, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitable care.

The fundraising campaign runs through July 7th.
